Cat Cables

Cat Cables

Cat5, Cat6, and Cat7 cable types are among the cable derivatives used today in the most specific networks such as information technology and communication. Cat5, Cat 6, and Cat 7 are cable models primarily used for signal transmission today. You can find all Cat cable types with suitable and high-quality specifications on our pages. Among these, Cat 5 is preferred as a sound-image transmitter in computer Ethernet cables and networks. It has a bandwidth of 100 MHz - 100 Mbps. Subsequently designed Cat5e cable types have superior specifications. For example, compared to Cat5e, Cat5W cables have lower internal resistance and a stiffer structure.

Cat7

Cat6 cables are also used as Ethernet cables, while also being preferred for security systems and IP phone systems. Cat 6, which has the capability to carry 1 Gbit of data per second, operates at a frequency power of 250 MHz. Cat7 cables, with a frequency power of 600 MHz, can carry 10 Gbit of data per second. Cat 7, with its high data carrying capacity, is designed to contain 4 pairs of 8 wires. In this aspect, it is not affected by interference and offers high efficiency in data transfer. It is available in unshielded, shielded, and semi-shielded versions. It is a type of cable that can heat up when operating at high capacity. Cat 7, designed after Cat 5 and 6, is much faster and more efficient in data transmission. However, its cost and price are higher compared to Cat 5 and 6.
