Google Glass Postponed to 2014
The launch date of Google Glass, which has been the dream of tech enthusiasts since its announcement, has been postponed again. Although Google has not made any definitive statements about the launch date so far, it was hinted that the launch would take place within 2013. However, Eric Schmidt, speaking to the BBC, stated that this date would not come before 2014.
Recently, Google sent Glass to a large group called "Explorer" and asked them to test it. We saw and watched the experience videos and photos shared via Google+ with the hashtag #throughglass. While we were wondering, Eric Schmidt announced that Glass has a further year-long process for full development; they are currently sending Glass to developers.
Applications are already being developed for Google Glass, which is stated to be sold at a price of $1500. Facebook and Twitter have already prepared their Glass applications. In addition, newspapers like The New York Times have also started working on Glass applications.
