Twitter Launches Music Service
Last year, Twitter acquired We Are Hunted to create its own music application, which will form the basis of its music app. The music application, which will be based on iOS and Android and is among the most preferred Spotify applications, We Are Hunted, will be used as the core of the Twitter Music service. It is known that the application will include not only audio but also video.
Twitter Music App
Twitter Music will consist of 4 separate sections. The Suggestions section will be used to discover new tracks. This section is expected to be developed in line with Twitter's revenue model. The Now Playing section will indicate the track currently playing. The Popular section will list frequently shared tracks. New releases section will showcase newly added tracks and new artists.
The Vevo channel will provide video support to the Twitter Music application. Thanks to this, not only text and images but also videos will be shared on Twitter.
