SEO Tips

If you want your web pages to rank high in search engine results, it will be beneficial to consider the tips in this article.
  • Don't block a large part of your site with robots.txt: It may be a good idea to block parts of your site for search engine spiders using the robots.txt file. However, if you block more than half of your site, search engine spiders may think your site is among the forbidden sites and give up examining your site frequently. If your site is examined less, it will also rank lower.
  • Don't write bad or incorrect HTML: Most search engines cannot distinguish between badly coded pages, but if a search engine spider cannot read your page due to bad HTML, it cannot index it. You should make sure that you check your HTML regularly and that there is no situation that will affect the examination of your site.
  • Don't use frames: Search engines have difficulty reading framed websites and rank them lower than unframed sites. Even if you get a good ranking, you may not get clicks because search engines don't know what to show as the title or description of your page.
  • Never link invisible images: Invisible images are images that are 1x1 pixel in size and cannot be seen with the naked eye on web pages. Although some links are prioritized in web page ranking, you should not link images that are intended to be seen by search engine spiders but cannot be seen by site visitors.
  • Don't link single-pixel images: Linking single-pixel images is the same as hiding text or showing different content to search engines and different content to site visitors. Therefore, your page may be banned. Also, don't assume that search engines cannot read CSS or HTML that changes the dimensions of full-size images.
